Zaid, a former East Ham resident jointly owned a shop with Baba Musa (BM) in Upton Park, East London. These fine gentlemen brainstormed on ways of getting the local African and Caribbean community together to promote unity, integration, work or do things together as team and to support one another at all times. Zaid believed in team work and he was of the view that, everyone is important and is capable if we do things as a team and support each other. The African community in East London nicknamed Zaid ‘’the whale’’ as a result of his good works in getting the community together and promoting integration.
